We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract to help optimise and evolve our Food Order Management domain - the digital backbone of our e-commerce propositions.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Product Manager for Food Order Management, your role focuses on the end-to-end journey of food order processing—from order placement to delivery and refunds and everything in-between. You’ll be responsible for optimising how orders are captured, managed, and fulfilled, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both customers and colleagues. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for Food Order Management, aligning with broader business and customer experience goals.
- Champion best-in-class product practices, including discovery, experimentation, and iterative delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data, and commercial to deliver impactful digital experiences.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product lifecycle.
- Use data and customer insights to inform prioritization and continuously improve product performance.
- Lead product discovery efforts to identify new opportunities and validate ideas through user research and testing.
- Ensure delivery teams are empowered and focused, removing blockers and enabling high performance.
- Stay informed on digital trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to keep our experiences ahead of the curve.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background of at least 18 months working experience of product managing complex order processing systems or fulfilment platforms is required due to the highly technical nature of this domain
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and modern product development practices.
- Technical fluency—comfortable working with engineers and understanding platform capabilities and constraints.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics and experimentation to guide decisions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- A customer-first mindset and a passion for creating intuitive, engaging digital experiences.
