What you'll do  

Our Retail Events function sits with in our fresh and grocery supply chain team and leads large scale product activation initiatives in our stores across the breadth of the UK. 

You will lead a team of 12 analyst's and work across our across food business, build strong relationships with our Retail, Commercial, Logistics and wider Supply Chain teams to deliver on our availability and sales whilst managing the cost lines across key events. continually look to improve processes and systemic functionality, applying a customer and commercial focus to local events, driving the retail event function forward.   

Your role will involve driving a performance edge culture, demonstrating year-on-year improvements in service levels, business KPIs, and continuous improvement within the supply chain and retail management context. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, you will focus on enhancing customer experience, driving continuous improvement targets and KPIs, and coaching team members to achieve personal and corporate targets. Additionally, you will lead the team in delivering support for Ad Hoc queries, ensuring consistent ways of working and fostering store closeness and depot engagement while simplifying processes, driving efficiencies, and contributing to a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Who you are

We are looking for a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving performance excellence and customer-focused outcomes within the food retail/food supply chain sector. Your ability to inspire and lead a team, coupled with your strong network and influencing skills, enables you to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and drive continuous improvement in processes and technology. With a keen industry understanding, technical expertise, and a passion for data-driven decision-making, you excel in developing team capabilities, simplifying processes, and delivering operational efficiencies while maintaining a customer-centric approach in all aspects of event planning and execution.
