What you'll do
As a HR Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing HR management information, data analysis, and insights to both internal and external stakeholders. Using statistical and quantitative analytical techniques, you will analyse people-related business problems and present the findings in relevant and easily understandable formats. Your expertise in visualisation tools, SQL, Python, and Excel will be essential in interrogating and analysing data, supporting regular reporting outputs, and contributing to proactive insight projects. Additionally, you will collaborate with HR teams to enhance the business and model colleague data, maintain data integrity, and provide guidance on accessing, analysing, and interpreting colleague data. Your passion for innovation in data analysis and continuous improvement, as well as your ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, will contribute to the delivery of high-quality and actionable deliverables.
Who you are
You are highly skilled with a passion for data analysis, insights, and delivering impactful reporting solutions. Your ability to engage with stakeholders and manage multiple priorities enables you to collaborate effectively and deliver timely and accurate outputs. You have the technical proficiency to manipulate and integrate large complex datasets, while also designing and building new data products based on customer specifications. Your dedication to continuous improvement is demonstrated in optimising analytics processes, simplification, and automation. Your commitment to data protection principles make you a valuable contributor to the people analytics team at Sainsbury's.
Essential Criteria
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders
- Experience of using data analysis and/or visualisation tools to generate insights and reports
