What you'll do
As the Analytics Business Partner at Sainsbury's within the Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for providing crucial insight and analytics to support the Logistics division across various sectors. Your role will involve ensuring that logistics leadership teams have the necessary analytics to drive operational efficiency, identifying root causes of operational concerns, conducting statistical analysis on large datasets, and presenting actionable insights to drive customer and operational benefits. Additionally, you will be leading and managing a team of Logistics Analysts, focusing on fostering an environment of continuous improvement, diversity and inclusivity, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to enhance project performance and align ways of working for continuous improvement.

As an Analytics Business Partner for Sainsbury's Logistics division, you are a seasoned professional with expert knowledge in analytics, particularly within the supply chain and logistics sector. Your strong analytical skills, combined with the ability to analyse, present, and communicate data effectively, enable you to provide valuable insight and drive action to enhance operational performance and customer outcomes. With a collaborative approach, strong attention to detail, and a focus on excellence in delivery, you excel in building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and leading a team of logistics analysts to deliver impactful results. Essential Criteria
Expertise in Analytics: Especially within Supply Chain, Logistics, Tech, Product, or Service environments.
Analytical Strength: Ability to analyse, present, and communicate data effectively to drive action.
Communication Skills: Capable of simplifying complex technical data for diverse stakeholders and influencing at all levels, including up to Director level.
Project and Priority Management: Comfortable managing multiple priorities and navigating complex dynamics.
Leadership: Experience managing a small team, including driving continuous improvement within the team
