What you'll do
As a Digital Associate Analyst within the Argos eCommerce Analytics function at Sainsbury's, you will utilise comprehensive data and industry-leading tools to analyse and understand customer behaviour on digital channels for General Merchandise and Clothing. You will translate these insights into actionable recommendations for various teams across the business through project-based work, day-to-day analysis, and stakeholder support. Additionally, you will collaborate with digital and broader analytics teams to prioritise and deliver tasks, continuously seeking ways to enhance reporting processes through automation and optimisation. Your role will also involve ensuring accurate data capture and driving your own development by identifying growth opportunities in the ever-evolving data and analytics landscape.

As a Digital Associate Analyst at Sainsbury's Argos, you are a forward-thinking and innovative individual with a passion for leveraging data and insights to drive impactful analysis that directly supports business strategies. With a strong analytical mindset and a keen interest in digital and retail, you excel in providing valuable insights into customer behaviour on digital channels and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise reporting processes through automation and emerging technologies. Your ability to think creatively, prioritise effectively, and communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner sets you apart as a valuable member of a fast-paced and dynamic analytics environment.
Essential Criteria
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Digital Analysis across multiple channels
Highly Desirable
- Experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- Coding experience in SQL, Python/R, VBA, or similar
