What you'll do
As a Product Returns Technologist at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the provision of product insight to the Technical teams. Utilising your expertise in a technical role within the supply base or at a retailer, you will inform and drive product improvements to enhance overall customer experience and reduce returns. Your responsibilities will include effectively managing testing processes, both internally and externally, to gain comprehensive understanding of product concerns, as well as providing technical and operational coaching to your direct reports and other business functions involved in product development. By prioritising and optimising resources, you will focus on areas that drive commercial benefit and enhance customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards in internal product testing environments. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to build positive relationships will contribute to your success in this role, as you aim for continuous improvement and elevate product quality.
