More about the role
As a Convenience Range Analyst, you will be responsible for devising strategies that lead to the creation of optimal mission-based ranges, driving incremental sales value and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your work will reflect the latest analysis, insights, and cross-business thinking, applying convenience-specific ranging and merchandising principles to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
You will lead the RangeComm process end-to-end, coordinating stakeholder engagement and managing projects to time. You will also champion the convenience customer within your category teams, updating and upskilling range and space principles. Expect to be involved in strategic planning, trade plan design, space optimisation, and post-investment reviews.

You will be strategic in your approach, capable of building and executing plans that align with category vision and business needs. You should be comfortable with numbers, quick to adapt to tools and systems, and possess advanced Excel skills. Your ability to interpret customer decision hierarchies and apply insights from various sources will be key to your success.
We are looking for someone who is organised, efficient, and experienced in managing complex projects. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to empower and support team members. Knowledge of merchandising software such as JDA is desirable.
Essential criteria

- Proven experience in strategic range planning and merchandising.
- Demonstratable ability to manage complex projects within budget and timelines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to interpret customer insights and apply them to range development.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
