Who you are

As a Senior Client Executive at Nectar360, you are a results-driven professional with a deep understanding of our business capabilities, insights, and communications capabilities, as well as the retail landscape, particularly in the GM industry. With 1-2 years of previous client management experience, you have a proven track record in building strong client relationships and delivering against annual revenue targets. Your expertise in marketing practices, coupled with your strong project management, communication, and presentation skills, enable you to effectively understand and address client objectives, provide tailored solutions, and manage all aspects of client activity within budget and timelines. 

With your self-motivation and proactive attitude, you contribute to the success of the wider team and stay informed on industry trends and competitive threats to leverage opportunities for our clients.

What you'll do

This Senior Client Executive in the Non Food Grocery team has a unique set of requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a deep understanding of our business and capabilities, as well as Sainsbury's, so that you and the wider team can effectively manage client relationships and deliver on annual revenue targets. 

Your time will be split across 2 sub teams, with the ambition that you perform a couple of different functions: 

  1. Ownership on 2-3 key client accounts. One of these will be our largest account and will provide a valuable opportunity for you to be involved in delivering some Best in Class activations end-to-end across our store media and digital propositions. 

You will be involved in building strong relationships with clients to identify revenue opportunities and applying Nectar360 solutions based on their objectives. This will provide a fantastic grounding and opportunity to grow your Client Service skills with a view on professional development into future roles within our business

  1. Support function across the team for more admin-based tasks that are critical to us maintaining strong service levels for our clients. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
    • Management of compliance reporting across campaign activity for a range of Client across our Categories
    • Maintenance of status and activation trackers
    • Support on the delivery and write up of campaign evaluation – across our store channels, targeted media and offsite data-driven digital campaigns
    • Monitoring results performance and optimisation recommendations in our Ecommerce platform 
    • Creation and maintenance of client-facing generic collateral (eg Ratecards, Events, Deadlines, Case Studies, Decks)

As part of this dual-function, you will be a really important conduit across the team and with members of our wider virtual team. A real can-do attitude, proactive approach and strong sense of accountability will ensure this role is a success. 

Essential Criteria

  • Client Management Experience: 1–2 years of previous client management experience with a proven track record of building strong client relationships and delivering against annual revenue targets.
  • Marketing & Retail Knowledge: Solid understanding of marketing practices and the retail landscape
  • Project & Communication Skills: Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills to manage client activity within budget and timelines.
