More about the role
As a Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME), you’ll lead the implementation of next-generation technology assets that integrate, automate, and optimise financial processes across the business. This hands-on role focuses on the adoption of a new ERP system, working closely with finance stakeholders to evolve BAU accounting, central reporting, and financial systems.
You’ll collaborate with PMO, controls assurance, and external consultants to deliver process efficiencies and control improvements. Expect to be deeply involved in documenting interfaces, supporting knowledge transfer, and ensuring accurate and efficient data handling. You’ll also consult across transformation projects to align systems changes and dependencies, ensuring seamless integration across people, platforms, and processes.

Essential criteria
- Proven experience in SAP finance implementations and business process transformation
- Demonstratable expertise in SAP modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Procurement, Fixed Assets
- Ability to document and account for complex business processes with clarity and precision
- Evidence of autonomous working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with successful delivery of project milestones
- Proven ability to communicate change impacts effectively to diverse stakeholder groups, simplifying complex information into engaging content
Desirable criteria
- Professionally Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
