More people shopping with us each week means more interactions. And thanks to data insight, we understand customers in a way that almost nobody else does. We work alongside incredible brand partners and the best agencies around. So if you have a passion to learn, grow and experience new teams, come and explore it all with us.
Why join us
Joining our Brand Comms and Creative team within the Marketing and Loyalty department at Sainsbury's means being part of a multi-channel, multi-brand business that serves millions of customers each week. As the number one customer touchpoint, our stores play a vital role in our marketing strategy, making this position an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver compelling communications that drive sales and change brand perceptions. You will have the chance to work with a talented team, collaborating with campaign and creative professionals to translate our propositions into impactful messages. With a focus on creative excellence, you will bring leading-edge thinking from behavioural economics and heuristics to enhance how we connect with our customers. With our extensive reach and wide range of stakeholders, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact and contribute to the ongoing success of our brands.
What you'll be doing
As a member of the Brand Comms and Creative team in the Marketing and Loyalty division, you will play a vital role in managing and creating communications across our in-store and publications channels. Working closely with the In-store and Publications Marketing Managers, you will support the delivery of campaigns and projects, ensuring that our propositions are translated into compelling communications that drive sales and align with our brand guidelines. Acting as air-traffic control for the in-store plan, you will govern the number and type of messages customers see across stores, while collaborating with store display colleagues on visual merchandising and display elements. Additionally, you will spend time in our stores and those of competitors, becoming an expert in in-store marketing and using your knowledge to influence key stakeholders and support the campaign and creative teams. Your attention to detail, budget management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will contribute to the operational excellence of our communications, while your understanding of customers and ability to incorporate behavioural economics and heuristics will ensure that we connect with our customers in a meaningful way.
Who you are
As a member of the Brand Comms and Creative team within the Marketing and Loyalty division, your role as an In-store and Publications Marketing Coordinator is crucial in delivering effective communications across our extensive network of supermarkets, Sainsbury's Locals, and Argos points of presence. With a strong understanding of the importance of stores as our primary customer touchpoint, you possess a deep knowledge of in-store marketing and visual merchandising. Your expertise in briefing and developing marketing communications, along with your ability to collaborate with designers and agencies, ensures the delivery of compelling and impactful campaigns. Your strong customer focus and understanding of customer behaviour enable you to shape our messaging and drive sales. With excellent project management skills and attention to detail, you can successfully manage multiple tasks in alignment with our brand guidelines. Overall, your passion for creative excellence and your ability to influence key stakeholders make you an invaluable asset to the team.
