What you'll do
In your role as a Copywriter you will play a crucial part in crafting engaging, compelling, and on-brand copy. Working as part of the Creative & Design team, your responsibilities will involve creating and reviewing content that forms the foundation of our brands' connection with customers on an emotional level. Collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams, you will deeply understand creative objectives, develop winning ideas, and execute industry-leading creative work that drives brand credibility and engagement. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure consistency and alignment across all brands' tone of voice, style, and messaging across multiple channels. Additionally, you will enhance data models, implement industry best practices, and maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship in all creative outputs. Your role will also involve mentoring junior team members, contributing to Zest's creative vision, and keeping in touch with industry trends to inspire fresh and unconventional solutions.
Who you are
As a Copywriter you are a highly creative and skilled professional responsible for crafting engaging, compelling, and on-brand copy. With a minimum of three years of marketing copywriting experience, ideally in retail or FMCG environments, you possess a strong understanding of direct, in-store, and digital marketing practices. Your ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and adapt your writing style to different media channels demonstrates your excellent organisational and communication skills. As a proactive and collaborative team player, you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to the creative development of content that resonates with customers on an emotional level. Your attention to detail, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills allow you to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, shaping their creative objectives into impactful and innovative solutions.
Essential Criteria
Marketing copywriting experience, ideally within retail or FMCG sectors.
Demonstrated experience in direct, in-store, and digital marketing.
Experience in delivering industry-leading creative work that drives brand credibility and customer engagement.
Experience in maintaining brand tone of voice, style, and messaging consistency across multiple channels.
