What you'll do

In the role of Retail Finance Analytics Engineer, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation and leveraging technology to enhance productivity, uncover new insights, implement automation, and improve control within the Retail Finance division. By designing and building Alteryx workflows, optimising data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, and collaborating with stakeholders from Business and Tech teams, you will play a pivotal role in delivering ad hoc analysis and insights to enhance retail performance. Your expertise in Alteryx, SQL, and Snowflake, combined with your proactive engagement with key stakeholders, will enable you to champion the development of quality assets and drive internal process improvements to optimise data delivery and drive efficiency across multi-channels and products.

You are a forward-thinking and tech-savvy professional with a strong background in leveraging technology to drive business innovation and performance. With your expertise in Alteryx, SQL, and Snowflake, you possess the skills to design and build efficient data workflows, enhance data quality, and deliver valuable insights to Retail and Commercial Finance stakeholders. Your high levels of energy, resilience, and proactive engagement enable you to build strong relationships, prioritise effectively, and drive positive change within a dynamic and challenging environment.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience using Alteryx for data preparation and analysis, ideally supported by an Advanced Alteryx Certification
  • Proficient in SQL and Snowflake, with evidence of applying these tools in a professional or project-based setting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple channels and product types, showcasing adaptability across varied data environments
  • Track record of effective stakeholder engagement, including proactive communication and relationship-building across teams
  • Evidence of prioritising competing demands and constructively challenging requests, with examples of managing workload and influencing outcomes
