Why join us

Joining Sainsbury's as the FM Compliance Reporting & Supplier Performance Manager offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming facilities management data into actionable insights, driving compliance visibility, and enhancing supplier performance within a diverse and dynamic retail environment. As a key figure in FM governance, this role provides a platform for you to shape reporting frameworks, partner with internal teams and external service providers, and influence decision-making through valuable insights, all while contributing to the safe and efficient operations of our stores. If you thrive in a highly analytical, structured, and collaborative setting where your contributions directly impact operational excellence and risk reduction, then this role is the perfect fit for you.

What you'll do

You’ll own the end-to-end MI and reporting landscape for FM compliance, statutory maintenance, and supplier delivery. You’ll develop and maintain a comprehensive FM compliance MI and reporting framework, oversee the integrity of FM compliance data within CAFM / CMMS systems, monitor and analyse supplier performance, and provide insight into compliance trends and risks. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to influence senior stakeholders will be crucial as you lead performance reviews, identify root causes of compliance failures, and implement improvements.

Who you are

You’re a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in data management, reporting, and supplier performance within a multi-site organisation. Your advanced analytical abilities and experience with BI tools and CAFM / CMMS systems allow you to transform FM data into actionable insights. With excellent communication skills and a structured approach, you excel in overseeing data quality, managing supplier relationships, and providing strategic oversight.

Essential criteria

  • Demonstrable experience managing data and reporting within a multi-site organisation, including transforming MI into actionable insight to support operational decisions, communicating those insights clearly.
  • Experience managing supplier performance, interpreting contractual KPIs.
  • Proven ability to develop, oversee and maintain reporting frameworks, ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity of compliance data within systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
