What you'll do
As the Senior Retoucher at Sainsbury's Zest studios, you will be responsible for delivering first-class creative output, focusing on producing high-quality PR, Campaign, social, and Ecom content. Your role will involve setting high standards for all retouching work, including understanding best-in-class retouching techniques, colour grading, and colour theory. Additionally, you will lead the team in AI development to support new workflows, build automated processes for maximum productivity, and mentor the retouching team while maintaining creative excellence across all channels. Your expertise in fashion and still life retouching will be showcased through visually compelling imagery creation and ensuring alignment with the overall studio vision and standards, primarily for Sainsbury's Tu Clothing and other brands within the organisation.
Who you are
As a Senior Retoucher for Sainsbury's Zest studios, you are a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in high-end fashion retouching across various platforms such as Ecommerce, Campaign, and PR. Your expertise lies in building efficient retouching processes and leveraging AI technologies to enhance workflow productivity and quality. With a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver visually compelling imagery, you possess an exceptional eye for detail, advanced understanding of complex retouching techniques, and a deep industry knowledge in fashion and still life retouching. Your leadership and mentorship abilities, coupled with your organisational skills, enable you to manage multiple projects efficiently and ensure creative excellence at all stages, contributing to the overall success of the team and the delivery of exceptional creative output.
Essential criteria
Proven experience as a Senior Retoucher, with a strong focus on high-end fashion retouching.
Demonstrable experience delivering retouching for Ecommerce, Campaign, PR and Social channels.
Experience and knowledge of retouching techniques, including colour grading, colour theory and best‑in‑class finishing.
Strong portfolio showcasing fashion and still life retouching at a high commercial standard.
Experience setting and maintaining quality standards across retouching output.
Hands-on experience using AI tools and automation to improve retouching workflows and productivity.
