What you'll do
As the Digital Asset & Workflow Manager at Sainsbury's, you will be responsible for owning and optimising the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, ensuring that digital assets are well-structured, governed, and accessible. You will develop and maintain metadata standards, taxonomy frameworks, and version control processes while establishing asset governance policies and user access controls. Additionally, you will act as a subject matter expert for DAM best practises, providing training and guidance to stakeholders, and continuously monitor system usage to recommend improvements. Furthermore, you will serve as the system champion and administrator for Adobe Workfront, configuring workflows, templates, and reporting tools to support consistent ways of working across teams and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Your role will also involve supporting Resource Managers by maintaining accurate project and allocation data within Adobe Workfront, providing reporting on team capacity and utilisation, and documenting processes and resource tracking frameworks to ensure workload visibility and operational excellence.
Who you are
As a Digital Asset & Workflow Manager at Sainsbury's, you are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in managing Digital Asset Management systems and Adobe Workfront. Your expertise in metadata, taxonomy design, and digital governance, coupled with your experience in system administration and configuration, enables you to optimise processes, enhance workflow efficiency, and ensure the effective governance and accessibility of digital assets. With your process-driven mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally, you play a pivotal role in supporting teams to work more effectively and efficiently while maintaining visibility of workload capacity and resource allocation.
Essential criteria
Experience using and administering Adobe Workfront, including configuring workflows, templates, dashboards and reporting tools.
Experience owning and implementing a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring assets are structured, searchable and governed effectively.
Experience in and a strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy design, naming conventions, version control and wider digital governance.
Experience managing asset governance policies and user access controls, improving adoption and usability.
Experience generating reporting insights from systems data to support visibility of capacity, utilisation and workflow adoption within a creative agency.
